What is a Learning System?

A learning system is a framework for individuals, teams, departments, or organizations that targets performance by providing a clear job mastery path through learning to help an organization achieve operational goals.  

For an organization, a Learning System is the framework in which the ongoing learning process of employees is managed.  This framework can support learning across all levels of an organization.  A learning system can support organizational growth through effective new-hire training programs.  It can also help an organization remain current in its required internal knowledge, support change or business readiness initiatives, as well as help keep up with market place trends and products. 

For employees, a learning system can provide a clear path to their job mastery or ongoing training and development plan to perform effectively in their roles and support their ongoing career development.
